Kandie & Toine

Had a blast photographing Kandie & Toine this past week. They let me wait until the light was just perfect for these shots...and I do have to say...good things come to those who wait. These two are adorable. Toine will kill me for saying it, but they are. Plain and simple...adorable. Can't wait for the big day!

Bubbly Toes

Can you say adorable? This kid was happy from the minute he woke up and stayed that way! We had such a fun little shoot with Graham who is now 6 months old and already a heart breaker. Too many shots to post...these are just a few favorites! Thanks Millington's for a wonderful afternoon.

Surprise!

Had a blast photographing the Tarbet's family session recently. It was a surprise birthday gift for mom/grandma. Can't think of a better idea. I met the the Tarbet's a couple of years back when I was photographing their sister Katie's wedding at the Ojai Vally Inn and Spa. Am thrilled I have been able to watch this family grow. I can't wait for our Christmas session! Happy birthday!!

Bloom where you're planted.

When I was going off to college my parents got me a little painting of a beautiful tree that said 'bloom where you are planted'. I still have it hanging in my kitchen and it is one of the most beloved things I have. I take it to heart. When I met Angie at a coffee shop in downtown, I thought she just might too. This was a small intimate wedding that was absolutely brimming with love. The kind of love that had me grinning from ear to ear the entire time I was around them. It was this kind of contagious happiness. The ceremony took place in their backyard, which is a secret garden unto itself. It was a perfect representation of them. Beautiful, and full of love. It had me thinking about that painting. It was obvious that they knew just what the saying meant.

Jody & Nate's Wedding

Had an amazing time photographing Jody & Nate's wedding at the zoo. This wedding may just be the best party of the season and I'm just getting started. The music was fantastic, as was the dancing (it's true, I even busted some moves). Must give some love to AMS for rocking this reception. Brian and I had a blast.
